I see from your screenshot that your Windows Update is downloading Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.26220.6690 (ge_release_upr).
Since you mentioned you are currently using Windows 10, here’s what’s happening:
You’re enrolled in the Windows Insider Program. That’s why you’re receiving Windows 11 Insider Preview builds instead of normal Windows 10 updates.
The build number (26220.6690) is a development release of Windows 11 (in the Insider Canary/Dev channel).
Once downloaded, Windows will prepare the update and eventually prompt you to restart to install Windows 11.
Important notes:
Installing this update will upgrade your PC from Windows 10 to a Windows 11 Insider Preview build.
Insider builds can be unstable (they may contain bugs or unfinished features).
If you don’t want Windows 11 Insider builds and prefer to stay on stable Windows 10, you should opt out of the Insider Program before restarting and installing.
⚠️ If you want, I can guide you either to:
Continue with the upgrade to Windows 11 Insider Preview (and what to expect).
Stop the upgrade and stay on Windows 10 stable builds.
